Mr. Roger's Sweater and Jerry Seinfield's "Puffy Shirt", part of the Smithsonian collection. Carrie Bradshaw's (Se- in the City) Mac Book laptop is in this dislplay as well, it's the same computer as I use. It doesn't show up very well, even when I enhanced this photo.
Solar Decathalon Competition on the DC Mall. About 20 University Design teams set up solar energy "green" housing and tours of each were available. Very interesting and I was encouraged at all the possibilities for the future, using solar, conservation and eco friendly materials.
This is one of the Gardens behind the Smithsonian Castle building info center.
All of the Gardens were beautiful, and they changed per season, I guess.
Arlington Cemetery. We got there just when they were closing for the day so we didn't get to the tomb of the Unknown Soldier or the Kennedy gravesite. All the museums and monuments close at 5:00.
